The leading researchers of the coffee research consortium gathered for their third comprehensive progress meeting at Universitas Brawijaya (UB) in Malang. This important two-day event focused on strategic planning to ensure the consortium achieves its research targets and secures future funding opportunities.
The meeting discussed several primary objectives and strategies, including fulfilling mandatory Rikub 2025 outputs such as two international journal submissions and one patent draft. The consortium also focused on preparing a strong proposal to secure second-year Rikub grant funding support.
Delegations from Universitas Jember led by Dr. Jayus, Universitas Brawijaya led by Prof. Joni Kusnadi, and Universitas Andalas led by Prof. Dr. Novizar Nazir actively participated in the discussions and collaborative planning sessions.
Several important outcomes were achieved during the meeting. The consortium reached an agreement regarding the subject matter for patent registration and identified two international journal papers that are scheduled for submission.
The meeting concluded with renewed commitment, strengthened collaboration, and a clear roadmap that positions the consortium strongly for future achievements and sustainable research development.
